Terms of use
Draft: to be reviewed before launch. Last updated [date].
The service
Stale Bricks is run by [company name] ([company number], [registered address]). It scores homes listed for sale in the UK by their asking-price history. Listing data comes from PropertyData. Prices are asking prices, not sold prices or valuations.
The score is a screening aid, not advice. It hasn't been tested against sale outcomes and doesn't tell you what a seller will accept. Check every listing yourself and take professional advice before you make an offer. Listings can be out of date or wrong, and we can't guarantee they are accurate or complete.
Accounts
You need an account to see results. Keep access to your email account secure, because sign-in links go there. One account per person; don't share it.
Plans and payment
- Passes (3 or 6 months) are a single payment. They don't renew. Buying another pass adds time after the current one ends.
- Landlord and developer plans renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Prices are in pounds and include VAT where it applies. Stripe takes payment; we never see your card details.
- If you're a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of buying. Because access starts straight away at your request, we'll refund the price minus a proportionate amount for the days you've had. Contact [support@yourdomain].
Fair use
Don't scrape, copy in bulk, resell or republish the listings or scores, or use automated tools to search the site. Residential passes are for personal use. We may limit or suspend accounts that break these terms.
Our liability
We aren't liable for decisions you make using the site, or for losses that weren't foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and law
We'll tell you by email before changes that affect a paid plan. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. See the privacy notice for how we handle your data.
